It’s been ages since I posted something and I miss it.
Here is my first post after moving to London:
Album artwork for “Malayeen”, the latest and so far greatest release from anNihaya records.
Featuring the Khaled Yassine, the Charbel Haber and the Raed Yassin.

This was the first design I did for “China”, a project by Raed Yassin, winner of the Abraaj Capital Art Prize. At this early stage, we hadn’t made the decision to make the whole series in cobalt blue yet, and I was going for a color scheme inspired by miniatures (notice the gold paint in the sun, fires, and borders).

Another of my original designs for “China”, a project by Raed Yassin about the Lebanese civil war. This was my favorite because I got to focus on portraiture. It was also the last one I drew, so I was a bit more comfortable with the style by then.

These drawings were made possible with the help of the lovely Monira Al Qadiri, who was my painting assistant for this project.
